Dec 12, 2010:

I started at UVic studying 10 different Social Sciences weekly topics in Uni 102, Jan-Apr 2009, including Community Mapping (Ken Josephson) & Environment Studies (Brenda Beckwith), which confirmed for me that I LOVE Maps & studying my environment. I have been a volunteer community mapper & web-wizard in UVic Geography's Community Mapping Initiative since April 2009, & applied as an undergrad student in Jan 2010 - I Love To Learn!

I am also a student/student liaison in Uni 201, studying different monthly topics, in four 2 1/2 hour classes:
  • Personality and Social Cognition in Adulthood (Janet Love) Jan 2011

  • The Human Body: Activity & Plasticity (Gabriella Nasuti) Oct 2010
  • Creative Writing: Freeing the Writer Within (Brenda Protor) Sep 2010
  • The Art of Place: Role of Community-based Art in Academia (Brenda Beckwith & Ken Josephson) Aug 2010
  • Intro to Contemporary Photography (Jocelyn Beyak) Jul 2010
  • Changing the World through Social Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation (Colleen McCormick) Jun 2010
  • Mass Media & Community (Doug West) Apr 2010
  • Uni 102: Social Sciences (student liaison) Jan-Apr 2010
