Welcome to my Home Place at UVic

December 13, 2010
I would like to acknowledge the sacredness of this land to all who know and love it, especially the original inhabitants, the Lekwungen First Nations and Coast Salish Peoples, who still look to this land as their Home Place.

I started at UVic studying 10 different Social Sciences weekly topics in Uni 102, Jan-Apr 2009, including Community Mapping (Ken Josephson) & Environment Studies (Brenda Beckwith), which confirmed for me that I LOVE Maps & studying my environment. I have been a volunteer community mapper & web-wizard in UVic Geography's Community Mapping Initiative since April 2009, & applied as an undergrad student in Jan 2010 - I Love To Learn!
